Wetland Mowing, Spraying, and Maintenance
Precision vegetation management in Florida's most sensitive wetland ecosystems.
Florida's wetlands are among the most ecologically valuable — and most challenging — landscapes to manage. Invasive and overgrown vegetation can degrade water quality, reduce wildlife habitat, and create fire hazards. We operate a Marsh Master® amphibious marsh buggy, the industry standard for wetland machinery, to access areas that conventional equipment simply cannot reach. With pontoon tracks designed for high flotation and minimal ground disturbance, we deliver effective vegetation control without damaging the fragile substrate beneath.
What We Do
Wetland Mowing
The Marsh Master® is built specifically for the harshest wetland terrain — soft muck, open water, and dense emergent vegetation are no obstacle. We use it to mow overgrown marsh and wetland areas, opening up dense stands to improve water flow, create edge habitat, and restore the structural diversity that native wildlife depends on.
Invasive Species Spraying
We target invasive exotics including cattail monocultures, torpedograss, phragmites, and other problematic species that crowd out native vegetation. The Marsh Master® allows us to apply herbicide treatments deep into wetland areas that are otherwise inaccessible, maximizing treatment coverage and effectiveness.
Vegetation Raking
Using our raking attachment, we can remove cut or floating vegetation from the water surface and wetland substrate. This is especially useful following mowing or herbicide treatment, clearing debris that would otherwise decompose in place and contribute to nutrient loading or impede water flow.
Rollerchopping
Our rollerchopper attachment crushes and crimps woody and herbaceous vegetation, breaking it down without removing it from the site. This technique is effective for managing shrub encroachment and preparing wetland areas for prescribed fire or native plant establishment.
Yearly Maintenance Plan
Effective wetland management is not a one-time event — it requires consistent attention throughout the year. Florida's growing season, rainfall patterns, and invasive species pressure all shift with the seasons. Our yearly maintenance program is structured around those rhythms to keep your wetland healthy, functional, and in compliance year-round. Every property is different, so we provide custom quotes based on acreage, vegetation conditions, and the specific services required.
Winter
December – February- Initial site assessment and mapping of invasive species coverage
- Mechanical mowing of dormant cattail, torpedograss, and emergent vegetation
- Rollerchopping of woody shrub encroachment along wetland margins
- Documentation and photo monitoring of baseline conditions
Spring
March – May- Follow-up herbicide spraying targeting regrowth of invasive species
- Spot treatment of phragmites and other early-season exotics
- Vegetation raking to remove debris from winter mowing operations
- Assessment of treatment effectiveness and adjustment of management strategy
Summer
June – August- Mid-season mowing to manage rapid warm-season growth
- Continued herbicide applications during peak invasive species growth
- Monitoring of water levels and vegetation response to treatment
- Coordination with regulatory agencies as needed for permitted activities
Fall
September – November- Final mowing pass before dormant season
- Late-season herbicide treatment to reduce invasive seed bank
- Vegetation raking and debris removal ahead of winter
- Annual report preparation with photo documentation and treatment records
Every maintenance plan is custom quoted.

Who We Work With
Our Marsh Master® services are well suited to any property where wetlands, ponds, or wet ditches have become overgrown or infested with invasive vegetation. We have worked with a wide range of clients across Florida.
Golf Courses
Overgrown pond edges and wet rough areas are a common challenge on Florida golf courses. We restore clean sight lines, improve drainage, and control invasive species around water hazards and retention ponds — keeping courses looking sharp and playing well.
Airports
Stormwater ponds and wet detention areas on airport properties require regular vegetation management to maintain function and meet regulatory requirements. We provide discreet, efficient service that works around operational schedules and safety requirements.
Private Landowners
From cattle ranches and hunting properties to conservation easements and residential estates, private landowners across Florida rely on us to manage wetland vegetation, control invasive species, and improve the overall health and usability of their land.
Developers & Engineers
We work alongside developers, civil engineers, and environmental consultants on projects that require wetland clearing, mitigation site preparation, or ongoing maintenance of stormwater and retention features.
