Florida conservation fieldwork in natural landscape

About Us

Rooted in Florida's Landscape

We are wetland vegetation specialists who go where conventional equipment can't — operating Marsh Masters in Florida's most sensitive and inaccessible ecosystems.

Our Mission

Controlled Conservation was founded on a simple premise: Florida's wetlands require specialized equipment and specialized knowledge. Managing cattail monocultures, invasive exotics, and overgrown littoral zones demands more than a standard mowing crew — it demands amphibious capability and ecological understanding.

We work with golf courses, airports, private landowners, and developers to deliver practical, results-driven wetland vegetation management. Whether we're mowing a stormwater pond, spraying invasive species, or rollerchopping dense brush, our goal is the same: get the right outcome for the land and the people who depend on it.

What We Stand For

Specialized Equipment

The Marsh Master goes where conventional equipment cannot. Our amphibious machines operate in standing water, soft muck, and dense vegetation that would stop a standard mower in its tracks.

Ecological Knowledge

Effective wetland management requires understanding what you're managing. We identify target species, assess site conditions, and tailor our approach to protect native communities while controlling problem vegetation.

Practical Results

We focus on outcomes: cleaner water features, controlled invasive species, and maintained wetland buffers that meet regulatory and aesthetic standards year after year.

Long-Term Thinking

A single treatment rarely solves a vegetation problem permanently. We build maintenance plans that keep sites in good condition over time, reducing the cost and effort of reactive management.
